Fight and Build.

“Then as [Nehemiah] looked over the situation, [he] called together the nobles and the rest of the people and said to them, ‘Don’t be afraid of the enemy! Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes!” – Nehemiah 4:14

Our spiritual enemy is coming after our children, and he doesn’t care who knows it. He wants their minds. He wants their hearts. He wants their beliefs. He wants their lives. Most of all, he wants their identity. He wants to destroy the foundation of who they are by letting culture, or even themselves, determine “their truth.” But there is no truth but God’s Word, and it is absolute truth that transcends time and cultural advancement.

We as parents cannot stand by idly and let Satan steal our kids’ identity, because without an identity built on truth, our children will crumble in the face of adversity. It’s time for us to fight back against this cheap, cowardly attack of the enemy…daily. Foundations 365 is one of this generation’s most critical tools, equipping parents to equip their kids with the Bible. It is a biblical resource that helps fathers, mothers, grandfathers, and grandmothers build a child’s identity daily on the only sustainable foundation—Jesus Christ.

Foundations 365 readies us as parents to grow, guide, and guard our children all in a minute or two each day with pointed, strategic, intentional declarations from God’s Word. Let’s take the challenge, make a stand, and fight for this generation as we reinforce God’s view of identity, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, creation, love, sin, gender, leadership, discipline, legacy, marriage, money, health, and everything in between. It’s never too early for our kids to hear the Word. Whether they’re 2 or 22, God’s truth is the only reliable foundation for their faith. So, let’s get ready to build our children’s foundation on Jesus. Day by day. Plank by plank. Brick by brick.

“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 3:11
